The little black one is probably around a month old. The Dutch marked one looks like it has some dwarf- it's ears are rather small. The white ones make me think "Florida White", but I am not very familiar with the breed- it was just my first impression.

Too old? No. Will it get pregnant? Maybe. If it is a buck, it still has a lot of years.

What exactly do you want out of your rabbits? Will these rabbits fit your goals? If not, then "free" is too much. If they do fit your needs, then $20 for all four isn't bad.

Do you think the 2yrd one is to old to breed?

I bred a three year old for the first time. Only got one live kit, she kindled twice, so at least she's fertile. Guessing the's the dam of the 4 month olds? Ask, then you know she's fertile, and my breeders uses hers till they are about six, so she might work for you.

Like the others said, it depends on your goals.

Are you raising these particular rabbits as meat, or to breed meat rabbits? The two white ones look to be a smaller breed. I think that little black one is younger than the guy is telling you, so it's hard to tell how big it will get.

All rabbits are made of meat, of course, but you want a good meat-to-bone ratio and a good weight-to-feed ratio. Have you been able to find out the breeding/kindling history of the 2yo doe?

OK thanks guys I'm going to talk to the guy and try to get more info on them

__________ Fri May 25, 2012 1:33 pm __________

OK so I talked to the guy and he said he'll do $12 for three of the young ones so $4 each isn't to bad meat rabbits rite?
