So a friend who knew I'm planning to make a bunch of cages just emailed me this craigslist ad. I'm a little confused by the ad's wording so I've asked the ad's owner to clarify how many holes and what sizes, but...I'm actually considering these. I could easily make an overhead shelter and either stack them or hang them, and it'd cost a little less than the complex tiered hutch I was going to make. Thoughts???

You'd have 13 holes altogether but the floor space in them would be an average of 4 square feet or less, is that enough room for your rabbits?

The 24 x 24 cages would be the only ones the Champagnes and the New Zealand could fit into, but the Angoras are pretty small for their breed. The 12 x 24 cages would be for Hollands or other tiny little goobers only. So while not totally ideal, it's far more comfortable for me monetarily and might get me through decently; I'd still build a giant does-and-litters and grow-out hutch too, btw.

I mean, it'd be basic living quarters for a couple of years (with does going in the big soon-to-be-built pens when they're bred)...I'm kinda leaning towards it. :) Not ideal but stackably do-able in the limited space I have, and heck I could MAYBE, IF THEY FIT even incorporate the two-hole block I made a while back...those two are larger holes and would easily hold a Champagne.
