Kyle, I would suggest breeding her 2x in one day ... mid morning and late afternoon. But, since that is past, I would think you either have a bred doe, or you will find out when you palpate at 2 weeks and then breed her again if she hasn't taken. You can palpate, right? :D

I tried twice in one day...he wouldn't touch her. I felt awkward, holding this growling doe by the scruff and butt, while the buck just sat there staring at me like he had no idea what I was doing or why there's a doe in his cage.

I've never successfully palpated before but then again every doe I've ever palpated wasn't pregnant. I gave up trying to palpate and then suddenly started getting litters. ;)

I had bred (or tried to anyways) Classy and when I palpated her, I felt nothing but intestines and poop inside, so I knew she's not pregnant. Hence the re-breed...and no, she's REALLY not pregnant, she'd be due before now (I've been struggling with the rebreeding for a couple of weeks now so she's well past her original "due date" by now).

So I'm hoping I can "feel" them in there when I finally lay hands on a bred doe, LOL. I've got a second doe who was bred less than a week before Classy, and I'm very sure she's pregnant...she got covered MANY times, both morning and evening, and when I flipped her afterwards she was a mess, if that makes sense. ;) So it might give me a better basis for comparison, LOL!!!

I have one of these. I can't stand her. Her sister and every other die lifted and she refuses. So she's being sold. I don't have the patience. She's young and might soon, but in a few months it'll be nearly fall again lol

I have taken a buck to the doe once, and it worked when nothing else did. I mean she went from absolutely flatly 100% refusing, to trying to break some sort of mating record! It was her first time. For her second time, I was able to take her to him. She let him cover her only once, but she had a litter a few days ago.
