I have 2 litters of kits but only 1 rabbit tractor. The tractor is 10' long by 36" wide with a box on the back that is 24"x36". I was wondering if I can put the 2 litters together in the tractor? Their is a 1 month difference in age between them.

Yes, put them in it all at once, don't let one litter think it's their pen and later add the new rabbits. Might have small fights, but they should be fine. How old are the oldest kits?

__________ Wed Jul 04, 2012 12:45 pm __________

What in the world is a rabbit tractor?

It's a chicken tractor, except you put rabbits in it instead of chickens. =D

Thanks for the quick responces. A "tractor" is only a framed structure that is moveable. I would take a picture of it but, the computer that we D.L. our pictures on has crapped out and we've not loaded the program in this laptop yet. Like I said mine is 10' long and 3' wide with an attached box on the rear. It is wrapped in 1"x2" wire and half of the top is covered with tin to shade them. Mine has wheels on the back which makes moving it easier.

I'm still lost as a ball in high weeds, but I'll ask it anyway. What is a "chicken tractor"?

It's like a people tractor, except with smaller controls so the chickens can earn their keep. (That's what I thought of when I first heard of one  )

It's a moveable run so chickies/bunrabs can graze somewhere different every day or so.

Okay, that explains alot. I still have never seen one and have trouble visualizing it, but at least now I have an idea of what we're talking about.

SainsRules, it's a pasture pen for chickens or rabbits that has wheels on one end to make it easier to move

What chickiesnbunnies said, plus, make sure they are hungry when you put them in there. Give them lots of feeder space and something really yummy to eat. They'll be so busy munchi8ng they won't even thi8nk about fighting.
