I have a Netherland Dwarf buck who looks like a hotot but has a few freckles around his face. If I breed him to a blue Jersey Wooly what colours could I expect?
Would the kits be all smoke pearl?

Depends on what color the hotot marked one truly is. Can you post some pics? :)

I highly supect your 'hotot' is actually a Vienna marked and carries the broken white gene.

Smoke pearl has 2 out of 10 loci / areas of recessive genes so it is unlikely you'd get more smoke pearls unless your buck has parents or grandparents with the same recessives.

If you can you tell what colour the spots are on your buck or know the colour of his parents or siblings it would help

I've had lots of hotot marked babies that are not Vienna carriers. They just don't have the right modifiers to have a proper broken pattern. Or in other words they are false charlies.

I agree that the buck is black with either one or two broken white genes, and he may also carry a Vienna.

When bred to a blue doe you will likely get more broken black and/or black.

You may get other colours depending on any hidden recessive genes they may be carrying.
