Hey RabbitTalkers! :)

Ok, so I recently had someone e-mail me including pics of a HL doe that they said was blue. (I have been looking to set up a purchase of a HL and ND brood does in the future, maybe around February, or just whenever my current rabbits get completely over the pinworms. ;) But in the mean time I'm trying to set something up. :) ) So as soon as I saw the pic, I was like:  What?!
Siamese sable right? That can't be blue! :x

Oh, and I can't find a way to post more than one attachment on here without submitting it, and going back in to edit....?

How old? Only young sables have a bluish tint. It should be turning brown with black points if it's sable. Seal stays darker but they are usually more chocolate to off black than blue. Scroll down a little for evolution of sable and sable point HL http://www.gbfarm.org/rabbit/grow-up.shtml

I can definitly see the darker areas on the feet, nose and ears and believe this rabbit to be a "smoke pearl" which is a blue sable - it's either a very dark one or the picture is decieving. A Siamese sable is a black sable :)

Good call Easy Ears

The lighting in the picture does make this rabbit look like a young sable. Could be a blue realistically but in the pic it looks like a young sable. Just my opinion. It is definitely too dark to be a smoked pearl though.

Oops, ya sorry, I thought I put the side view, but I just can't seem to get I up!
Lets try this:

__________ Thu Dec 04, 2014 1:56 pm __________

Yay, it worked! :D

now she dose look like a sable of some kind. how old is she? sables don't get their "Siamese" look until later. She could just be growing into it..
