Will a black buck always have black offspring with what ever he is mated too. If he was Bb would he still have all black offspring. The buck in question is black all over with the exception of brown color on all toes front and rear feet.

If the buck is aaBBCCDDEE he will only produce black when bred to a self, chestnut when bred to an agouti, and otter when bred to a tan. If any of those genes are recessive he can produce that color such as Dd bred to a Dd or dd will make blue versions of all those things (self blue, opal, and blue otter). It depends what he carries and what he is bred with.

No. Black is not dominant. If he carries chocolate (Bb) then he can produce chocolate kits when crossed to another chocolate carrier or a chocolate doe.

This crossing of a black buck and harlequin doe will result in chestnuts, harliquinized chestnuts and possibly fawns, Harli's, blacks and torts.

Others are possible if there are other recessive genes involved.
