Hello all! My Holland Lops had their first litter and I am having a bit of trouble with certainty of this little bucks coat color. His parents are chocolate VM (mom) and black silver marten VM (dad). I am thinking maybe he is a chocolate silver marten or lilac silver marten? Any thoughts from experience folk here? Thanks in advance!! (His coat looks like a slight chocolate and also greyish at the same time but becoming more grayish with the white/silver grey on the nose rings, inside ears, chin, belly, feet) Very confusing. Yes, it looks like a chocolate silver martin to me.

Sometimes chocolate kits go through a grayish phase as their new coat comes in but their undercoat still shows; we see this in our chocolate Polish.
