Well, it's getting to be that time of year again! Figured I'd share these three Christmas music videos. Enjoy! :D

Pentatonix: Mary, Did You Know?

Whiteheart: The Little Drummer Boy

Pentatonix: Oh Come, Oh Come, Emmanuel

Now it's your turn, post your favorite Christmas carols!

I absolutely love Pentatonix, "Mary Did You Know" always brings me to tears!

They're one of my favorites to listen to whenever I'm looking for awesome Christmas music!

Here's their "Joy to the World":

You play piano?! Whoa! I couldn't understand it, myself, so it's always amazing to me when someone else gets it! I play a sketchy Celtic tin whistle right now. I plan on studying it more this year.

And I ABSOLUTELY love Trans-Siberian Orchestra! I've only heard the Christmas album, but I'm curious about how they treat the old classical music. Do they do the same metal treatment to Beethoven and Mozart and similar stuff?

I remember that from the last carol thread. It was so beautiful. :D Opera buffs would tar-and-feather me for this, but I like Sting singing opera better than Pavarotti. I saw them sing together, and I prefer Sting!

More than anything else, this nails it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mor7Ii2Jg3U
But there are so many others... Anything from The Nutcracker, or the two or three Celtic Christmas CDs that we've loaded and set on "Random" each year for the past 30-some Christmas seasons...

Growing up when the first Peanuts holiday specials first aired, (mid 60s) I can't imagine the holidays without them. The music is such a big part of it. It certainly gave me an early appreciation for Jazz.

As a side note... I read somewhere that Charles Schulz had a Beagle growing up. I have no doubt... I've had a few Beagles, and in Snoopy, Schulz totally captured every little nuance of the breed. From the way their ears flap when they run, to the wild mood swings that seem to send them off into some kind of fantasy daydream. Beagles will keep you on your toes!
Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!

really love "Christmas to me:, by the Statler Brothers, and Silver Bells will always remind me of looking in the windows in the stores at Christmas back when they had the animatronics in the windows for Christmas. I bet I maybe could find some of those on you tube.. Hmm something to go do...

Ok, so now I have to look this up :) Sting singing opera? Lol. I'm not an opera fan by any means, but that would definitely be a must see.

Haha! :p It's really not that bad.
As to the music, I'm really not sure. I haven't listened to their other albums in a long time.
