Chocolate background??

I just realized that the Harli doe I purchased has chocolate in her background.

She's out of a broken cream doe and a black buck (who, I was told, is probably a lightly marked japanese harli). She has the same grandsire on both sides, who is a chocolate/cream tri-color and a chestnut agouti doe granddam.

Does this mean that she could carry chocolate? Or does she have to BE chocolate to carry it?

Chocolate is recessive so can be secretly carried

Only the dominant and incompletely dominant colours like agouti, not chocolate, not dilute, full colour and broken cannot hide

The grandsire is a blue/cream tri-color :bash: :delete:
