Chinchilla: A?B?cchd?D?E?

Silver marten: aT?B?cchd?D?E?

You didn't specify whether you wanted black, blue, chocolate, or lilac silver martens so I listed the genetics for black silver marten. Adjust the B/b and D/d accordingly to get the others.

Chin and silver marten both depend on the cchd allele being the mos dominant at the C loci.

I wanted chins, squrriels, black and blue silver martens. I have a REW buck that is out of two chins. Is he useful for this project?

Yes and no. Because he is rew if he is bred to an animal who carries chinchilla you could get chins first generation, but also because he is REW you know he himself does not carry chinchilla because REW (cc) is recessive to chin.

Great. Now how would I get some silver martens? Breed otters to chins?

In order to get silver martens first generation, you would need to have a chin that is Aat or Aa and the otter would need to carry a recessive at the "C" locus.

Preferably the chin would be Aat because if the otter also carried self you would get selfs along with otters. It would also be better that the chin be homozygous for chinchilla.
