Chins? [ Rabbit Color]

The polish didn't not work out. I tried to get one transported but with convention and breeders so far away. It is not possible. I started to look for JW's and found some not too far away. They are REW but out of two chins. The breeder says they are either a genetic otter or chestnut but are they are not chins if they were of chins why aren't they chin?

what the breeder means is that the REW kits cannot carry the chinchilla gene and the secret colour hiding under their white coat is chestnut (= A_ B_ cc D_ E_) or otter (= at_ B_ cc D_ E_)

The reason they cannot carry the chinchilla gene is because chinchilla and REW are on the same colour locus (the C-locus) and chin is dominant to REW so if they had a chin gene they would look chinchilla and not REW
