I bought a REW JW Buck at PaSRBA this weekend. He is out of two chins and he has been test bred and has thrown only black, blue and REW so what are the chances of him being a genetic agouti and how would I test breed it for it?

That would depend on how many kits he has produced...

Breed to a self, if there are any agouti kits then you know he is Agouti. However, given that he has already been test breed and produced no agouti kits, I would say he is probably not agouti but again it depends on the actual number of kits he produced. If it was only 3 really really doesn't prove anything but that he carries self. If it was 10? that is more definitive.

Yeah try another self with him. I just did a test breeding with a rew x chocolate self chin to see if she carried any self and she produced 4 kits, one black, 2 sallanders, and one chin so determined she is AaB_ccD_?e. Depends on how many kits were in that test litter but I'd suspect he may be self at this time. With rew kits in the mix it's harder to be sure so a self who does not carry c would be best.

I suspect he is a self. Out of 2 litters and 8 kits. He has produced Black, Blue and REW. My REW doe was bred to a blue buck and produced a siamese sable and another siamese sable or otter peanut. What would be best to breed to her?
