Castor or Amber Rex rabbits??

I’m trying to figure out if these are just castor or if they are Amber. They have much more red tones to them than my previous castors. What do you think?
Parents: buck is solid chocolate and the doe is broken castor

The easiest way I've found to tell an amber from a lighter castor is to look at the ear lacing - it will be black in castors and chocolate in ambers. Your bunnies have black ear lacing, hence castors.
Do your rabbits have red in the background? Reds carry two copies the wideband gene <ww>. In my experience, castors or coppers that carry the wideband gene <w> often look redder (lghter black ticking) than their non-wideband siblings. This makes sense since the wideband gene stretches the middle red ring further up the hairshaft, leaving less space for the black tip.

Good tip! My family bred Rex for about 8 years and even I could never really spot the difference lol they look so similar
