My best friend breeds American Chinchilla and Rex rabbits (she also has 2 pet lops). I love them, pet sit for her, and am always looking for new things to learn about rabbits so we can have something to talk about, I would definitely own rabbits if I had space and trusted my dogs not to eat them. She decided to breed Tiddly (my favorite) and Rosco ( who I also like). For fun, I decided to try to predict what the litter will look like (Due at the end of January :D). I got sucked down a rabbit hole and ended up making a hole chart for the 2 of us so we can always have something to reference when she breeds them. I am very familiar with horse genetics but rabbit genetics are like a foreign language. I tried my hardest to finish this but still don't understand so I thought I'd ask some real rabbit people to check it for me and get some feedback. Thanks!

Broken code = En , so Oreo is En/_
Tigger shows harli, ej = harli (old term japanner), so ej/_ or is there white in the coat (broken pattern)?

A = dominant, so if Rosco only carries A , you'll end up with a litter of castors. Do you know anything about the parents colors?

Tigger doesn't have any white, he is a tri-color harli. The website I was using to learn about genetics said that tri colors have En/en so I put it in as that. I don't know if that website is correct about that though. I'll ask my friend if she can send me a picture of Rosco's pedigree and maybe Tiddlys too!

A tricolor is a broken harli, so no white no tricolor. En = gene for broken colors, so website is correct in stating tri = broken harli. And since broken is a dominant gene it will show if there. Apart from the funnies that are white rabbits (REW & BEW or ruby eyed white and blue eyed white), because white or cc is like a white ghost cloak over the whole bunny so anything can hide under that.
