I was offered callaloo (Amaranth) plants to grow for rabbit food by my neighbor who lives across the street. I currently feed them pellets, but, I sometimes also give them weeds from the yard. I also give my doe kale for milk production. Is this plant safe to feed my rabbits?

I entered "amaranth" in the search option in the "Natural Feeding for Rabbits" forum, and there are numerous results:
