so if anyone remembers my older posts i've had thee worst time tryin to get meat rabbits. i keep ending up with smaller breeds (dutch, lionhead, minirex, etc) and then going through all these meat does that just will not produce.
well this cali doe is FINALLY bred! i'm so stoked to see what she has!
i had bred her to my american white buck before he left, as well as my black minilop buck. the minilop now has a litter with an english spot and they are the fastest growin babies i've ever had! and it was litter of 8. the american buck always threw litters of 10 every time but i was never able to keep any alive to butcher weight or age due to a rampid mystery illness (though that seems to have gone as fast as it came). so i'm excited to see what i get.
i guess i still suck irrevicably at palpating. because until yesterday i could not feel a darn thing and then it was like all of a sudden she's full of baby blobs! so after the first breeding i had bred her to my dutch buck. so i guess i'll find out who the dad(s) is/are when she has em depending on the date she has em and how they end up lookin.
