Buck to doe ratio?

What does everyone attempt to maintain as their buck to doe ratio? I show and breed and after my last binge shopping I think I got too high on the bucks. I'm going to have 2 does for every buck.

I have a two to one ratio, but a tiny rabbitry of two breeding trios.

I think a buck can be used 3-4 times a week so ratio depends on how often you breed :shrug:

In my meat herd I have 2 bucks (1 purebred, 1 mix) for my 12 does but could easily have 1 if I didn't want to continue breeding pedigreed AmChins or meat mutts

My ratio is 1 Buck-3 Does.....I think it boils down to personal preference and what you goals are. If you are interested only in meat you may not need more than 1, but if you are going for a certain color or to improve a trait you may need more than one to accomplish that.....
