Broken NZ

What out crosses are used to make a Broken Black New Zealand? I bred a NZW to a Broken Black Rex, 2 out of eight are broken black. I guess my next question is at which point in the pedigree can I call them Broken NZ instead of well bred mutts?

I heard rex was used.too be official it has too be three generations.but when people were developing mini rex many were selling them as mini rex with two generations.

I was told as soon as they are 3/4 then they are acceptable as purebred SO LONG AS YOU DISCLOSE THAT THERE IS CROSSBREEDING IN THEIR BACKGROUND. Also, I think the cross was with Satin, not Rex, but I'm not certain. Rex would be too hard to breed out of them because of the fur.

Thank you both for your replies. I breed primarily for my own needs,but I would eventually like to sell off the ones that out grow my freezer space.
