So, the hubby and I had about 6 hours of time to kill today, driving 3 hours to my sisters baby shower, and then home again. We talked about what we are possibly going to be adding in spring..........yup, I may just get my broken NZ after all, along with a red if we can find them within a decent drive time!
We'd like to add a couple doe, and for sure look for a really nice NZW buck to compliment our juniors we have coming up. We have a question though. Exactly what breeding does it take to get a broken NZ, and do they have the same meat to bone ratio as a NZW? I feel silly asking this, but it's something we're curious about, especially considering the goals we have to increase size, and meat production. I guess we'd have the same question about the reds as well.
