Rabbits by Accident

I have set up a water misting system and the rabbits love it. However, the cages get pretty wet, especially the one that has my pregnant doe, Gertie.
Mosquitoes are also a big problem here in Central Texas. So, I was thinking of bringing the nest box into the house during the day and only putting it out at night when the mister is off. This would keep it from getting damp and still allow Gertie to have a nice cool cage. Well, cool being relative, it's supposed to be 103 here on Sunday.
Assuming she even has kits in this heat, does this sound like a good plan? I wanted to make a nest box with no lid to minimize the mosquitoes so the kits would be unprotected if it was damp.
Thanks for any help, advice and/or experience with this.
