Can I bring the nest box into the house to do a good inspection on the kits?
Yesterday I just moved hair around and made sure they were alive and took some quick pictures. I would like to look at each of them and document weights and just make sure they are all good.
It did get down to a freeze last night and I have been waiting for the temps to go back up which they are slowly. No one is home now so it would be a good time to do it.

Any thoughts?

Yes you can, I always bring in the nest box to do checks when it's cold out. I through a towel over the top to prevent a draft when I bring it into the house though.

I know a lot of breeders that keep the nest boxes in their house and only give the doe the nest box twice a day to feed the babies when it's cold out.
