Has anyone ever bred a Flemish Giant to a Champagne d'Argent? Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this? I have two FG does right now and I am looking for a buck to breed them to. My goal is feeding raw rabbit to my dogs. I know the Champagne d'Argent isn't a large rabbit but would the two breeds even each other out? I am totally new to rabbits so I have no idea.

I haven't done it myself, but I don't see a problem. Lots of folks use FGs in their meat crossbreeding programs, and while Champagnes aren't as big as the Flemish, they aren't small either. It sounds like a fine cross to me.

A champagne would probably improve the meat to bone ratio.
