Bought as Blue but???

With lockdown and winter driving conditions and distance and the difficulty of even finding any, I bought a trio of Rex based upon talking to the breeder and three pictures and paid for delivery.

Rex withdrawal makes a junky do insane things sometimes.

Am very happy with them, good fur, good size, good temperament. Feet not so good, small and boney but not as bad as my first herd which got ulcers on wood, never mind wire.

Just baffled as to the color of the two does.

What's a blue agouti called in the Rex world? And a chocolate agouti?

No idea! I did think the castor buck looked a bit odd as well but the blues are just OTT in the odd color so I didn't think to ask about his color too.

she looks like a typical chin to me and he's a castor. Very pretty rabbits.

Good to know her color, he is a bit more brown than my last castors but pretty enough to love.

Look like a chin to me. In the rex world blue agouti = opal and chocolate agouti = amber, but it doesn't look like either of those two.

Looks Chinchilla or possibly Squirrel which is blue chin...looks darker so leaning more towards Chin but hard to say do to lighting...
