I know this subject has been approached before, but can't find anything. Our local bookstore and pet store are sadly short on books about caring for rabbits. I'm going to order one online, but I wanted to know what you all had in your library. I want one specifically for breeding and raising meat rabbits.

Suggestions or recommendations?

Rabbit Production is the best but it is out of print and the ones you can find are so expensive. I ended up getting Storey's Guide to Raising Rabbits by Bob Bennett. Excellent book, lots of great info. Also, here is a link to a free book online from the South Texas Rabbits page at TAMU

I have Bob Bennetts books:
"Raising Rabbits the Modern Way" and "Raising Rabbits Successfully"
Here is a couple of old books you might want to read:
"Raising Rabbits for Food and Profit" Edited by Lee Schwanz.[1982]
"Rabbit Raising for Profit" By Marcellus Meek [1947]
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:

I actually found Raising Rabbits for only $50, so I am going to order that one, and a couple others I found used but in good shape for about $5/each. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
