For those who remember I have this large doe named Biscuit who had 13 kits. In the past two days she has been sneezing a wee bit of blood.
She is a big doe, raising up 9 kits about 2.5 weeks old. flemish cross harlequin type mix.
She is aggressive to other female rabbits (wire attacks). I block her access using a big nestbox but she's a persistent one. I tried coroplast sheeting but she just ripped it down.
I've checked her over to see if she has bites or scratches from the other doe or from cage wire and I see nothing. she doesn't appear to have anything stuck up in it either.
it's been warm but not hot this week (I live south western Ontario). this after a coolish week of rain and chill.
There is no matting on her front legs, she is NOT sneezing any coloured snot and there is just this tinge of blood. Clipped her nails today and they were not overly long which is just as I expected as I clip every 6-8 weeks normally.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause?
I appreciate your help.
