OK, I'm trying to fill out my new rabbit software today and I have a problem with the show reports at Nationals and specialty shows. So we have a rabbit that won BOS for the breed nationals show. So obviously I tick the BOS box. What about the RIS (reserve in show) box? It was a National specialty show, but it was also at a larger show. That day was only specialty shows and no overall best of the day rabbit. So I don't know if RIS is warranted here or not.

Normally, a RIS is not picked at a specialty or breed national show, just BOB and BOS. Some breeds may be different, such as Satins, whose CBL's state that whenever a specialty show is held, an overall BIS is picked between Satins and Mini Satins.

At any rate, when an individual wins BOB at a specialty show, the win qualifies for a Best in Show certificate from the ARBA, provided that the minimum entry and exhibitor criteria are met.
