Is it just me, or is he a big baby bunny? He's 15 days old, from a nest of 6-4 (lost a couple, boo :c ). New Zealand/Cali mix. The ruler is broken at about the 2 inch mark. With his milk belly, he was exactly half a pound at 12 days old.
I love playing with chubby babies. :D

Well, not all of my steels grow so well. Most of them do though, even from my 8lb mamma. I really like this fatty. :D

He's adorable!

I had what I suspect were steels in my Rex, and they grew really well also. I haven't had any appear in a while though.

Oh. My. Gosh....so stinkin' cute!!!! I can't tell if he's big because I'm so distracted by his adorable-ness

I know he looks big, but I think he is about the right size at this age for the breed. I have 8 NZ/Holland Lop mixes at 14 days they weighed 1/2 lb. and 3 NZ/NZ Red at 2 weeks weighed 1 Lb. Both litters born the same day. They are now 6 weeks old and the 3 weigh 3 Lbs. The 8 weigh 2 1/2Lbs.

I so need a large breed rabbit. I'd love to see growth like that. I raise mainly lionheads so nothing massive in my cages.

Inconceivable!! (Hey, frecs brought up Princess Bride first!)
That is a big bunny! Looks bigger than my NZs at that age. Adorable too!

I don't think that word means what you think it means!

Fezzik: It’s not my fault being the biggest and the strongest. I don’t even exercise.

(sorry, I can't help myself once I get started quoting Princess Bride....)
