I have three bucks and three does in my first ever litter of Beveren. I am assuming I have blue and lilac. The preferred color on the show table is genetically lilac, although it is called blue.

My doe has all colors in her pedigree- "blue" (lilac is never listed), BEW, black, and chocolate. I have no idea what is behind the buck since I STILL don't have his papers.

Here are the bucks:

The middle doe has a white undercolor. The standard states: Color is to be a clean shade of light lavender blue, carried well down into the base, free from silvering.

Below are pics of her fur and one of her sister's:

Mamasheepdog I envy you, I would give my right arm for a Blue Beveran doe, would you consider selling me one?

The kits are gorgeous, I hope one or two of them grow up to be champions.

Thanks, Ivory!

I believe I will keep a pair and sell the rest. You are certainly welcome to a doe if we can figure out a way to get her there! :)

Beautiful. I'm guessing the white undercoat is just a fault and not a DQ? If she's a keeper then it should be an easy fix.

I emailed Barbi Brown, and she said that the white undercoat is not a problem- she should molt out to a lighter blue. :) I'm happy about that, because I think she may be the best of the three.

Wow, what beautiful babies! I am soo jealous!

I have always wanted Beverens; especially the lilacs and chocolates. Too bad I have no cage room right now. :(

That is good to know.
