Hey there!

I have searched and searched and couldn't find any specific dosage information to meet my needs for administering bene-bac. I have one doe that keeps having mushy poop on and off. I have been giving her oatmeal on the days she gets it. But since it keeps coming back, I was thinking some probios would help. I looked it up and found bene-bac worked well for rabbits, and ordered the 4 packs of 1gram tubes. The directions say one tube for each 10 pounds an animal weighs. I have Netherland dwarfs, so they're only 2.5 pounds or less. Since I've never used it before, I figured it would be best to be cautious and ask first. Am I just supposed to eyeball 1/5 of the tube? Or does anyone have an exact measurement I should use?

Also, do I just stick the stuff in her mouth? Do the rabbits generally approve of taking it? o.o Thanks!

It is just beneficial bacteria, so I don't think giving a bit too much would cause a great deal of harm. I would just eyeball it.

I use the Bene-Bac by Manna Pro marketed for livestock, and just squirt a bit in their mouth.
