Oooh! I like that first one a lot! Did you make that just for me? LOL

You were on my mind the whole time! Very inspirational! :)

I was wondering how the ones with the crystals would go over- glad you like them JWQ. They would look really neat in a window I think.

I loved the first UNTIL I SAW THE 2ND!!! Way to go MamaSheepdog!!!!! THEY ARE GORGEOUS!

Thanks, Duman! I like how the photo turned out w/ the barrel in the background- just need to be sure I'm not showing air for the Etsy pics.

VERY nice! Wow!! I like the way you're really turning the copper into a design element! On the second one, the free-flowing copper hanger adds a lot of interest (I'd love to see that thing glittering in a window...). The first and third, where the hanger wraps around the horseshoe.. and the third, which adds some wrapping with a different gauge of copper... very nice.

I really like what you've done with the barbed wire in the fourth one. Since it's chunky and dark, like the horseshoe itself, crossing the horseshoe with it instead of having it extend upward from the ends of the horseshoe makes for very interesting lines! The fine copper wire going in and out of it with the amethyst stones attached works very well. The copper winding in the heavier gauge really sets the whole thing off.

Well done!

Thank you for the in-depth critique, Miss M! I think I might have to put you on the payroll, lol! I'm having lots of fun with them- but I need MORE BEADS!!!

I took a necklace apart already to get the large amethyst pebbles... the whole necklace was made up of the larger stones, and it was too chunky for my taste anyway. I prefer delicacy in my jewelry. I've been eyeballing some of my other necklaces too- better get to a bead shop soon or I wont have any jewelry to wear, especially since I wont wear any of my "good" pieces in this economy. Too risky. Paranoid? Moi???

That's not paranoid, MamaSheepdog, it's wise. With the economy the way it is, and the price of gold the way it is, there have been thieves recently that will rush a woman with a gold necklace on, yank it off, and run away.

You might want to get to that bead store, though, before you cannibalize all your jewelry.

Or... http://www.firemountaingems.com/ About halfway down the left side, under "Specials", you'll find "bulk".

Thanks for the link, Miss M! Butterflies in the tummy are bad enough, but these beads are giving me colic!

You are welcome! Try not to go too crazy until you have made some sales! It's way too easy to go nuts over all the beads they have!
