My two litters are...well, I don't know how old [[because of the HD failure]]. My guess is 2.5 weeks, but I could be wrong. Still trying to get Ubuntu 12.04 to install properly...
BUT here are some uber adorable fluffballs!!!
The lightest brown in Jasna's litter likes me, it always comes up to lick my hand. There's one black kit in Mroz's litter that is a screamer like no other! It hates being lifted even for a second.

What are the rabbit breeds? They are really cute!

Jasna is an AmChin x Cali. She was bred to a SF. Chin/Cali x SF. First time mom, rainbow of babies.
Mroz is a pure AmChin, bred to a SF as well. Her kits are Chin x Foxes. She always has black kits and one random color kit.

Nice kits, and great colors! Little brownie sure stands out in the one dark litter!

The black ones have a more sleek feel to their coats, colors are mid soft/rough and the white tend to be the roughest feel. But that's true for all animals I have noticed. At least with rabbits, dogs, cats and between my two horses [[one is brown, other is white]]. Very interesting to me.

Oh, I believe kits start to nibble their nests at 1 week old, I would not, however, add any new foods until eyes are fully open and they are mobile. Like with other infants, they need to be able to fully adjust to the new food before moving on and adding a new food. My two oldest litters are now hogging pellets, hay and oats. The Cali litter, I've started to sprinkle a few pellets into the nest for them to try out.

I need to take new pics tomorrow, they are just too cute! They are loving the oats, pellets, hay and branches.
Mom's are still refusing to breed, very full of milk, doing great with their kits, so I really cannot complain.

__________ Sat Mar 02, 2013 6:15 pm __________

Was digging out grass clumps from the garden and gave a bunch to the hogs and each rabbit also got a chunk. They are very happy about it!

Here's a bad pic of mom trying to rest with a kit sitting on her. =D

Babies did not want to use the other dish of food and I got double decker buns.
Bowl of hay, two crocks of water, one crock of feed and a Jfeeder of feed, but stacking and crowding over one is best...

The surviving 4 Cali kits, they are doing well, still gray, but happy.
Other Cali is making a nest tonight! Maybe we will have more Cals!
The two oldest litters are hyper cuties. Monday I tilted over their nests and this morning, I took them out. Gave them tons of hay in case they feel a bit insecure still.

Oh, had a lamb born, please comment on that thread!!!! =D

Every other day I move their pen, since the grass isn't quite growing yet.
