Baby Lionheads!!

I just wanted to share a little excitement happening here in the barn. I just had my first Lionhead litter born today!! First time mom and she pulled a nice cozy nest and had 4 healthy babies!

Thanks! Both parents are double, so hopefully most will be. They are so small and cute! Can't wait to see how they grow!

3 of the babies are chocolate, and 1 is lighter. Is that lilac? Tort? To early to tell?
Also, pics of parents for reference, sire is chocolate and dam is chocolate tort.

oh my goodness they are precious. I love that they are already getting fluffy!! I have been thinking about getting into lionheads in the future and this is really making me want to dive right in haha

Right?! I can't get over their face fluff, I'll haveto get better pics to really show it, it's so cute! I had never thought I'd get into lionheads but then after a fair a 4H leader gave me this buck who won champion, but no one wanted to take him after it all. I was wanting to get some small breed, but hadn't settled on any. But Once I picked him up, I fell in love! So sweet and so small, he's only 3lb. It's quite the opposite of my english lops, lol!

Update! They are a little over 2 weeks old and refusing to stay in nest box, so it's now removed. They are growing too fast! Here's some pics of them feasting on hay with mom. I love babies at this stage!
