Baby bunny fell from 2 story cage

I have a 2 story cage with about 1 1/2 floor separation and in the middle of the night one my 10 day old bunny fell from the top to the bottom it looked as if it rolled down the stairs and hit the barb wire floor, the baby was breathing when I picked it up to place it back with the other ones, I’m just worried about injures

Well, that will happen again and again once they start venturing out of the nest on very wobbly legs. Rabbits evolved to leave a nest upwards, from the end of a tunnel, and the way back naturally is way more easy.

I don't deem any nest above ground level safe, so it would be good to either move it down (and block upstairs) or secure it in a way so that they can't get down until they are surefooted enough.

Not to scare you but I had the same thing happen to one of mine and it passed 4 days later from a head injury, watch it carefully

Baby rabbits have soft, flexible bones that tend to absorb impact. I once accidentally dropped a newborn from 4 feet onto a concrete floor and it was fine. Their skin is delicate, so they might have scratching, bruising or bloody noses, but a fall from 2 feet should be fine.

Both are limping with what seems to be one hind leg injuries, and one of them does not let its hind leg touch the cage floor. They are eating well. Wondering if they could be hind legs are broken and whether such injuries tend to heal with time.

If they don't heal anytime soon the best thing would probably be to put them down

Well there might be a way to make a little thing you can 'tie' on it like a cast to help it but I haven't had anything like that happen before

They heal really fast and if the bones are completely broken, then they need some sort of splint to hold the leg in place until it heals. If the bone is broken and the leg is crooked, it may heal crooked and breaking a bone to reset it isn't a task I'd want to take on. If it's just a fracture, then it should heal straight without a splint, but try and not let the rabbit run around like crazy for a week. That's what I'd do, anyway.

I've not done any first aid, but I do monitor their behavior/movements. They look lively save for the one that moves with it's leg raised

I pray they heal quick. One seems to be getting better. I actually thought of a splint, but was hesitant to handle it's leg lest I make it worse. Let me give it more time. Will give you updates

You should check that leg out. Might be dislocated, might be broken. Feel the leg and watch movement. If you aren't sure how a good leg should feel... play around with the other kits to get a good feel for what it SHOULD be like. Then move to the one that isn't right. If the bone is broken a simple splint with popsicle sticks should work (or if you have a SMALL cupboard tube that you can cut in half to fit around the damaged area. to learn how to splint, youtube should prove helpful. if it is dislocated... you'll have to pull a bit to get it back into the joint and then just stabilize it for a couple of days.
