Well I'm back from vacation. Now I have 5 Rabbits that are supposed to have little ones by Tuesday. We will see how many took. The nest boxes were put in tonight and 3 rabbits were making nests.

I have a few due pretty soon myself, bred after an extended heat wave, so I am eager to see if mine took or the bucks were sterile.

If it is still hot there, you may want to freeze some 2 liter bottles for them. My last two does to kindle were really uncomfortable the day before giving birth, and they appreciated them.

I bred the bunnies 2 weeks before I went on vacation. Before I left I put marble slabs in all the cages. Wen I left Florida this afternoon it was about 95 degrees and got Back to Missouri it was 79 degrees. Tomorrow the high forecasted is 75. I have some bottles frozen in the freezer.

75F? *Swoon* What I wouldn't give for that... forget the bunnies, send the ice bottles my way please! They surely don't need them! :lol:

It is all relative of course, so do keep an eye on them- but it sounds like they should do just fine in those temperatures.

We've had weather that didn't make it out of the mid 60's the last couple days!! LOVE LOVE LOVE that weather! Back to the high 80's by mid week though. Bleh!!!
