I want to know if I am seeing things correctly, and if this seems to be kits kicking/moving inside moms belly. Trying to learn other ways to confirm pregnancy and the difference between that and the intestinal rolling that I have heard can also happen. Thanks!

How far along should she be? I can feel the babies from 14 days on up to kindling. Just need to be gentler when palpating after 14 days.

She would be due today if she took first breeding. Day 31 today:)

-- Fri Oct 02, 2015 3:40 pm --

Her belly is tight but I did try to feel kicks and she moved immediately. Doesn't want me touching her so I'm trying to respect her:). Also her teats are protruding more than normal. She hasn't built any kind of nest yet but she's a firstimer.....

well from what I have seen goat kids kicking inside a doe I would guess that to be kits moving in there especially if she is that far along. I have never witnessed it in person, I guess I will have to try and see in the future! :) let us know if she pops

I've seen and felt kits moving in the last few days of pregnancy. They hate tummy touching when they're that far along. You'll be seeing kits soon!

This gal STILL hasn't kindled. Nothing. And she has been a with a Buck since the first breeding, several times so it's possible my first date was off. I have tried to put her back in with the buck couple of days ago and nothing. She wont lift for him but also doesn't fight him. Her belly is still moving and its bigger with more defined lumps with the movement. But this post was from Oct 2nd, making this 18 days ago. So even if my dates were off is it possible to see this kind of movement that early? The movement is still there but has slowed down some, but that may be normal if its getting crowded. Would you still consider her bred? Shes not haystached or anything but she continues to dig constantly and rearrange her litter pan and wood chips, which is out of the ordinary for her.....

-- Wed Oct 21, 2015 3:08 pm --

Just put her with the buck again, and she became vocal.
I have never heard that before from her. I let them hang out for a bit but put her back so as not to stress her out too much. I still feel like she's exhibiting all the signs of being pregnant. Along with her 2 friends, and they are all keeping me on my toes!
