Easy, relatively cheap, and might provide benefits so aside from being too busy to measure out enough water bottles or it doing damage to metal poultry waters I often add it. The filtered really inexpensive stuff in gallon jugs in the grocery store are not nearly as good and may be pointless to use. It's fairly easy though to make ACV from leftover bits of apple or add quality ACV to bulk apple cider to convert it all. Main issue is letting it breathe like alcohol fermentation while keeping fruit flies out and dealing with vinegar eels when it sits around long enough. I mainly started doing it to grow vinegar eels as live food while breeding fish and most unfiltered ACV from the store will end up with them in that cloud of stuff eventually. Harmless but people don't want to think about it.
