Anyone Palpate? Tips?

I have a couple pregnant does and just went to *gently* feel ones belly who has 4 days left. I actually felt some lumps, babies?? What do you feel for while palpating?

The babies should feel like balls but one with only a few days left will have stuff that feels like baby rabbits. I realized you posted this thread 7 days ago. did your doe have a litter?

Yes! She has NINE kits, this was her first time ever! Unfortunately, she just didn't know what to do and we lost all the kits. But planning to re-breed her soon and give her a second chance!
