Yeah!!! What's up with that?!? Sheesh...

One hand just wont cover it for me, so I raise TWO!

 I found out by accident...Both hubby and I had blue fingers, he was changing guitar strings and caught an end in the cuticle. (ouch!!) well while cleaning it the blu kote came off. so we have used it every sense...

And meanwhile, the rest of us have been wandering around with fashionable purple fingers. I guess it's a good way to pick rabbit breeders out of a crowd... ;)

if it stains everything, why not wear latex gloves when using it then????

As to why NOT to breed her?

1. Do any of the other kits in the litter have that problem? If not... why use one with an issue? If so, what are you doing or breeding that causes this to be a problem? If it's just rabbit genetics, well then FIGHT it. :)
2. Do you want to see more kits having issues like this? If not... why use one with an issue?

I know it seems like a simple "stuck poop" issue. BUT ... kits shouldn't be having poop stuck to them particularly AFTER you said that you trimmed hair to prevent the issue in the first place. So that kit is slow to clean itself OR you have something on the cage floor that it sits on, poops and just stays there ergo causing the stuck poop. The first is a genetic issue (slow thinking rabbit), the second is a management issue.

The management issue you can address simply.
The genetics issue takes careful breeding and record keeping.
