This is her second litter, first was nine. She is due tomorrow and was bred two days in a row three times per meeting. Any bunny want to guess how many she will have this time?

You never know. One of my mini rex never showed and always felt smooth, even, and firm across the belly. Sometimes she'd pop out 8. I had an american sable that barely showed and we got our record litter of 20. Then I had a mini rex who looked huge every litter with about 5. :shrug: If she was about the same last time and had 9 she'll probably have that again. I've found my does are pretty consistent irregardless of the buck or breeding style used. The ones that have 8 always have 8 give or take 1, maybe 2, and the ones that have 5 always have 5 give or take 1.
Well, my other doe who had eight last time just had ten! She was bred the same time, but has had the litter on the night of day 30 for both so I guess she just doesn't like to hold on to them she definitely wasn't showing like this doe and so my husband's guess was that she would only have five :lol: <br /><br /> -- Mon Jul 07, 2014 7:58 pm -- <br /><br /> Ugh! I say 7 or 8. My false-dwarf mini rex was big like that and she had 7

Well, she only had nine. Same as her last litter, but I'm not complaining! she is a great Mom and all nine from the first litter are in the grow out cage gaining weight nicely!
