I made a 2' X 2'X 8' tall closet 2" off the ground for ventilation next to my rabbit hutch (this is outside). I put 2 cheap work lights to keep it warm in there. Now I have ants in my fodder trays. I sprinkled cinnamon around to chase them out, used DE to try and kill them and also some ant poison (solid pieces,no spray stuff) but nothing really works. :x

They get in the trays and then bundle around the base of the wheat. When I pull the wheat mattes out I wind up with a hand covered it dang ants. So I wind up having to throw that matte away.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of these dang critters.

Yes I can do that, but they built a nest inside the closet. Maybe I should take the trays out and spray the walls and ground with ant spray then put the trays back when the spray settles down.
