Yep, I'd say you're right. I did a quick google search lol

NOT amber. Amber is chocolate agouti. She looks like a broken red. They vary in intensity of colour.

Could be either amber or faded smutty red (she may have not gotten the two wide-band genes needed for a good red since her dam was black). Blow into her fur on her back or flanks - if you can see rings it's an amber, if there's only surface color with a paler base it's probably red. Yes, no ring color = red.
