Well, I believe I was able to palpate correctly and actually feel an embryo in each of my does last night! I bred them both on the first of February. I titled this post "A First for everyone" because they are both first time does bred to the buck and they were both his firsts and this was my first time breeding rabbits myself so also first time palpating. I can now proceed to put in the nestboxes on day 28 and hope for the best! Fingers are crossed for nice sized healthy litters and that both does do their jobs well. I know there are possibilities of stuff going wrong but I have to be optomistic! :D

Sounds like everything is going really well for everyone's first time!

:congratulations: on a great start!

I never do seem to get to my girls at just the right time to palpate.
