A dog and her rabbit

So, Jessie's (my Australian Cattle Dog) been licking Murdoch all morning and won't let Gus, my Beagle, on the bed or anywhere near the rabbit.

I'm wondering - is she tasting and protecting a possible dinner, or trying to adopt a puppy?

At any rate, it was too cute not to share.
