3rd pregnancy for this doe. she is a rex/nz. she didn't have any problems the first two times. 32 days seems like a long time. Last time she went 31 days. This is normal, right?

if her normal is 31 days I would be concerned as well... so it could mean... she'll have kits gestationally late for her, that a kit is stuck... and will eventually show up, or that she missed. I'd not worry too much yet, but I would keep an eye on her.
going to be a cool night tonite, she hasn't pulled fur yet but has been holding hay in her mouth and putting in box. The babies are moving alot. Hoping tomorrow morning I wake up to babies, if not I'm letting her out and she can go to her hole in the ground. she's a very nice rabbit.
she is working with her hay feverishly this morning, drinking alot of water. I expect babies anytime now. even the cat seems concerned and is sitting on the picnic table waiting. I'm guessing she will have 12.
she had 4, I'm surprised. No more bleeding so I think she's done. Her bleeding was normal. She's tired but I will let her romp if she wants to and see if any more shake out. I can live with only 4.
if they are bigger than normal kits that will be why it took a bit longer for them to arrive. glad you have four healthy kits
it's odd because they aren't all that big. hope they all survive. could the timing of ovulation be a factor on how many? less eggs fewer kits?
lots of factors affect kit production. The biggest one for does is how much fat they are carrying. with a large breed doe having only four kits I'd be rebreeding her at the 1-2 week post kindle.
yes fat probably was a factor here. she feels thin now. do you think it is better for the doe to rebreed 2 weeks after kindle? I'm thinking keep one female baby for breeding around February. Buck is a Cali.

I'm doing this breeding schedule with my does, with 3 months off in the winter. I have a Cali who just rebred at 1.5 weeks without issue
