anddd this is what I've accumulated LOL Lots of babies in the box and the 7 week old juniors are being goobers so I'm going to try to take pics in a few more days. Really love a seal doe in the litter!

GP Dove (VTX2)
Jr. Doe
LOJ Velvet ( Sable) x GP Tex (4legs, BKN BLK S.TD)
Dark Smoke Pearl
Pulled this little lady out today and I was so shocked! I actually was just keeping her because I was growing her sable sister out ( I had bred a pair for a lady to start and I got a few picks out of the litter). They were 6 weeks old, and the food wasn't getting evenly distributed I guess back at home, so she was to be the other doe's buddy.... the sable ended up being a cull and Dove is the keeper  I thought she was a bit of a dimond in the rough when I saw her, but I wasn't sure how it was going to go because she wasn't caught up yet with weight. She went the right direction! Usually I don't like to use my hands to take pics, but she wasn't quite sure what to do with herself yet, and was trying to be a stinker and lean. I don't love her coat, but will a baby coat but so dense! Hoping she will be ready to show next month!

LOJ Apple x GP Tex (4 Legs)
BKN Black

I'm so excited about this boy! He's going to kick off his career next month, so I'm crossing my fingers. His body has gotten huge! Great shape to the head, but I need the crown to loosen still. Just like his granddaddy and father did lol He's got the fur and flesh I want on my entire herd.

I'm watching him :) I don't think he'll be ready to show until March, but some of these guys seem to sprout over night. We shall see! Seems to have good type, just needs maturity! Especially that head  Great flesh and fur!

Oh my goodness those babies are adorable!
Your making me want to drive up there and STEAL some, lol:)
I love the head on that little smoke pearl doe.....wow.
Mini lops are really the best breed ever.
Good luck on all your 2014 shows! (Not that luck really has that much to do with it......it's mostly good genetics, good breeding choices, and good conditioning :) )
:good-luck:

I've actually come to like the look of Mini Lops. Someday. Nice juniors! You have great rabbits.

One question; what do you mean by you need the crowns to "loosen"?

Some of my stock tends to have a tighter crown (although placed correctly) have a little more ear control :) With age and maturity, the crown "relaxes" and the ear will have less "control" (as with my line, their heads keep to developing 2-3 years of age). If there is one thing I seriously want to fix in my herd, as now I'm getting the consistency in type , I want to improve the overall width and size of their face, although I got great shape to my heads already. That's me being nitpicky with my herd

Thank you guys for the awesome comments :p Have to say I look forward to the squishy baby faces all the time

I think this is the third of fourth time I've had to come look at the pics - My Daughter saw your 'mammoth' and asked what it was, when I told her it was a rabbit she thought I was pulling her leg. That's some serious fuzz :D

:rotfl: bless her heart! :D

So cute! I'm in love with Dove!

I have to say she's so sweet. Loves a good head scratch! Someone needs to tell her that I'm not giving her anymore cheerios until she learns that digging out her food is not the answer! :nono: They are little crack mini size donut treats for her!
