OK so we have grown out our own buck he is 1 year old. We are trying to breed him to a proven doe that's 2 years old. Took her too his cage she just tried jumping him all the time so I popped my hand on top of her head so she would keep still he climbed on her and had partial falloff and s grunt so not sure if successful I let her go and she just jumped all over him again he just cuddled up under her like a baby. Didn't want to leave her as I thought she may hurt him so I held her head again he didn't want anything to do with breeding again just tried to get under her again to snuggle. What to do now as I don't want to leave them alone togethet. If I take her back to him will he not want to breed again?

They may need a little time to get to know each other, or he may not want to breed with her. Only way go tell is to keep trying. You can also try an exercise pen that is neutral turf, that gets mine in the mood:)

Returned her to his cage this evening he knew what he was doing this time 3 fall offs so we will wait for babies in 30ish days :) fingers crossed he is going to prove himself worth keeping.
