You've actually got a good chance at this age, but it is some work. Thankfully, it's also fun. :p

It will take a bit of restraining and persistence, since they are at this age when you are starting. Wrap them up in a rag (except for the head), nice and tight, like a burrito. They will balk at the eyedropper/syringe (I would use an eyedropper, as sometimes a syringe will stick and then suddenly release) at first, but they'll eventually realize that hard thing is giving them some yummy food.

You may be able to teach them to take it from a dish. I never was able to get them to do it. But others have.

After a few days, you can start trying soaking some regular kitchen oatmeal (old fashioned, not quick oats) in formula or straight goat's milk, and seeing if they will take it.

What I use in the formula is canned evaporated goat's milk, so it's double strength.

Goat milk replacer can be mixed regular or double strength, and would be fine.

Goat's milk from the grocery store is fine, too, and has been used for baby buns before. :)
