Watership down

I so want to watch it just because my younger sisters might be terrified (they didn't like Gremlins 1 or 2). I know I'm such a nice big sister.

UGH . . . frustrating, defect, toes grown together

That's what I'm hoping it is. At least then I can still keep her as a brood doe. Her mama is due next month, so if she has some I'll be lookin' them over real close to see if they have any toe defects.

UGH . . . frustrating, defect, toes grown together

I discovered that on the back left foot of my black doeling, three toes/nails are grown together. I didn't notice it when I was trimming nails, but I wasn't paying super close attention. Is this genetic?

Thinning the herd out. Which to keep and which to cull?

That's what I thought. I don't want to get bit in the rear. I just won't respond to her, because I do not want problems.

Thinning the herd out. Which to keep and which to cull?

A bit of a dilemma. I put a Craigslist ad up, but removed it as soon as you mentioned the gut issue. Anyway someone saw it that was interested in her before I got it removed. Guess who it was? A Humane Society worker. Her email: Hello, I am one of the Exotic Coordinators with the ----- County...

Thinning the herd out. Which to keep and which to cull?

I'll do that in probably April. Will this affect Charlotte, will she be in pain or be suffering? Thanks.

Thinning the herd out. Which to keep and which to cull?

This is sad. I guess I will most likely cull her then. I have space to keep her for awhile but after I run out I will cull her. Poor girl. Now I need to determine if this came from the doe or the buck. I certainly do not want to breed for this.

Thinning the herd out. Which to keep and which to cull?

Thank you. I want to breed show rabbits with good temperaments. I liked Charlotte's size so I held onto her just to see how she would develop, but I agree that she doesn't look healthy I'm not sure why. I'll mark her off to go to a pet home, she'll make an awesome pet. Uno like you said has...

Mini Lop photos I can use as reference?

This is my late Daisy, she was a Mini Lop I got from the Humane Society. She passed away last February due to cancer. I still miss her.

Thinning the herd out. Which to keep and which to cull?

I have room for about 10 rabbits max. I have 7 rabbits. Two senior does, two junior does, two pre-junior does, a senior buck and I have excess to a junior buck. These are all pedigreed Polish rabbits. I will start by naming and numbering each rabbit and what I like don't like and the general...

What turns you off from a potential buyer?

What are your things that you don't like and just turns you off, when you have a potential buyer contact you. I HATE when people use chat speak and no commas, periods or punctuation. Granted my grammar and typing isn't perfect, but I try, I also HATE trying to decipher chat speak, sometimes...

Safe, edible tree branches for rabbits

Now I feel dumb, my family has always called the hackberry a hackleberry. I guess I get to correct them now.

Safe, edible tree branches for rabbits

I know willow is safe for rabbits as is silver maple and sugar maple, and white mulberry, what about red mulberry Morus rubra? Also is pin oak Quercus palustris and what about the bur/blue oak Quercus macrocarpa are there any other oaks that are safe or toxic? What about the hackleberry and elm...

URGENT/PLEASE HELP! Unusual sores/scabs on rabbit

Okay, I don't have any of that right now, but next time I go to town I'll get some. Do you think Vetericyn will work for now?

-- Sun Dec 14, 2014 3:28 pm --

I did some research and I am thinking maybe they over groomed themselves because they were bored. So guess what...

URGENT/PLEASE HELP! Unusual sores/scabs on rabbit

They are next to no other rabbits, they couldn't even touch each other's hutch/cage if they could stick their paws out the wire.

URGENT/PLEASE HELP! Unusual sores/scabs on rabbit

My tiny 6 month old Polish doe has a sore under her chin in the throat area. When I first noticed it last week I thought it was a black spot of hair since she is a broken. The day after I noticed it I went to Kentucky. I just got back late last night and after investigating her "black patch"...

URGENT - Need help! 8 day old kits almost dead

Glad they are doing well. My Polish sometimes don't start opening their eyes until they're 2-2 1/2 weeks old, so I wouldn't worry to much yet.
