    DQ? *pics inside*

I have a broken black doe that I showed in December. At that time I noticed that one of her toes didn't look normal. She took a leg that day and did very will overall. However, it looks like her toe is more out then it was before. I am showing her again in Feb. but wanted to know if anybody...

    Disinfecting trays/cages

Ok, I am going to be disinfecting my trays....I usually use straight bleach, let it sit for 15 minutes then scrub it down, but I was thinking about using clorox anywhere spray for the in between cleanings. Does anyone know what would be the safe bleach to water so that I can make it myself...

What color is she? *pics inside*

I talked to the breeder of the Dam, she thinks that she is a seal. I am still unsure. She looks almost black and has white nails. I will be taking her with me to a show Feb. 20th, so hopefully I will know for sure by then. What color of nails do seals have? What color nails do chocolates have...

    Calf Manna

I returned the calf manna. After reading replies and doing more research I found that it would do more harm then good. I am going to try the no supplement method and see how that works. In theory genetics should take care of their coat. So, we will see. Rachel

    Genetics

TOTALLY! The thing is that I am really good with algebra, calculus, etc...but maybe it is how you have to read it that makes it confusing to me. I dunno, I seem to be getting no where. Rachel

    Genetics

Ok, so obviously I should have done more research on this whole genetic thing...but I couldn't understand it so I gave up. Can anyone tell me any good websites or books that could help the dumbest person ever (me) learn about genetics and is easy to read and understand. Thanks Rachel

I am leaning towards chocolate because there is no seal in either of their bloodlines. Yes, they are Mini Rex, however I would prefer chocolate over seal. Rachel

What color is she? *pics inside*

The only answer I can give right now is to your first question, and yes, it is a recognized variety. I think that if in due time I am able to answer yes to the second question then I think will keep her. Good luck on your adventure to get another chocolate. I was only expect blacks and broken...

Oh Anntann, that didn't help my decision on whether to start the variety or sell her. That only made it worse. :( What am I going to do?? Rachel

I had a litter of 5 born with 1 REW, 1 Black, and 3 Blues. 2 days later I had a litter of 1 born with 2 DOA with all of them being Blues. Both litters had the same Sire. That being said, The surviving kit in the second litter does not look to be blue or black. She seems too dark for blue, but...

    I'm a success!!

Eating Rabbit is NON Kosher, however, I think that Jack is refering more to the laws as if it was a kosher animal. IE-proper killing, cutting, and draining of the blood. Since Kosher meat has a very strict way of preparing their meat theory would be that it is more sanitary and healthy. Again...

    Calf Manna

Ok, so I finally bought some calf manna, as my bucks seem to hate BOSS and oats. :slap: I am giving the Calf Manna to my show stock. They have until Feb. 12th before they go to a show. I have a couple of questions. How long do you feed it to them, and how much do you feed to them? I have heard a...
